When I grow up...

The odyssey of my Grandmother and the Kindle continues.

My mother kept saying "Don't worry. Your aunt and uncle will be able to help her use it."

Right. Then why did I get a phone call from my Gramma tonight, using her querulous voice (and how often do you get to use that word?). "Where's the ID Number?"

"What ID number, Gramma?"

"For the Kindle."

"Why do you need an ID Number, Gramma?"

"To set up the Kindle on Amazon."

"Karen is trying to set up the Kindle? She does that from the Kindle itself."

So I finally got to talk to Karen who is trying to send something to the Kindle without registering it ON THE KINDLE. READ THE DAMN BOOK, KAREN. I don't see the Kindle being in her possession for very long. I bet Tif buys is off of her in two months tops.

First week of Goals

Okay, so last week's goals:
1. Write one Ronon story.
2, Write one Keladra story.
3. Outline one possible SGA storyline.
4. Type up next chapter of LOK.
5. Continue with more of LOK.
6. Archive next batch of drabbles at AO3.
7. DON'T JOIN ANY NEW CHALLENGES OR COMMUNTIES.

So, how did I do?

1. Technically, I did start a Ronon story because of the syfybigbang and it's new so I think that sort of counts but I was hoping to write a story for the stargateland big bang so it really doesn't count.

2. I wrote one Keladra story but haven't typed it up yet because I've been working on typing up LOK because Aster is breathing down my neck!

3. I outlined a new SGA story when I came up with the syfybigbang story. Ha!

4. I typed up chapter 2 of LOK. Hooray!

5. I haven't really written anything new on LOK. Bummer.

6. I haven't archived anything this week. That needs to be done SOON.

7. Okay, I joined a community. Just one! It's storycubes and looks really interesting! We'll see how that goes. It should work with most everything else that I belong to.
Edit: Oh, I forgot that I DID join yet another community. sgareversebang because it looked so pretty! And I haven't done a Reverse before. So, February on that one.
