Oh dear. I updated iTunes on Mom & Dad's computer... and then I had to TEST it so I bought some songs. And then some more. And then... I think I'm done now.

The newest Glee songs (although not all of them - just the mix with Thriller and the original stuff)
Scars on 45 (there's only 4 songs available on iTunes which makes me all frowny)
The new Within Temptation (a new CD dropped like THREE DAYS AGO!)
Grenade by Bruno Mars (I blame Boyce Avenue for making me like that song in the first place)
Christina Perri (once again, only a small album available)
Asleep by Emily Browning (While I may not have fond memories of Sucker Punch as a whole, I do like this song)
Time and Dream is Collapsing from Inception (those are the only songs on the album I don't think I can live without)

One of my major purchases with my tenure check (coming in a week!) is going to be a new iPod. A big one. A new one that won't have to be plugged in ALL THE TIME. I think I'm going to fill the old one with audiobooks. That seems to be a good use for it. It's still good but not exactly what I need at the moment since I'm not near a plug-in as much as I used to be.

3 Doors Down has a new album coming out on April 12 (incidently, the same day the [livejournal.com profile] satedan_grabass is due) and I think I want it but the new song sounds a lot like their other stuff. That's not entirely bad, really. I like their old stuff. But we'll see if I get the whole album or just this single song.

Tomorrow is a writing day! I have new songs and I think I have a list of things that MUST BE ACCOMPLISHED so it's all good!

I just finished One of Our Thursdays is Missing by Jasper Fforde and I can't stop smiling. That's really how a book should end, isn't it?

I'm horrible about reviews because I liked it. Sorry if there isn't anything more insightful than that. I liked it. If I hadn't, I would haven't read it. I need to do a complete reread of the series but I love how they keep reminding you of all the things you need to know. It's just so all-fire witty. It's one of those books you want to read bits to the person sitting next to you but then you don't know where to start and where to stop because you just want to read the whole book out loud! I do adore the audiobooks I have of the first two books. Have listened to them a couple times now. Don't know where they are at the moment... hmmm....

Anyway, I think I'm going to read Shades of Grey now because I want more JF. I wonder if he's this witty in person. Like if he's one of those people with obvious dry wit that just makes you smile.
