I'm very glad it's payday! Why? Well... I've been buying more "inventory".

I'll let you in on a little secret. If you're not overly picky about what you read, you can find some STUPENDOUS sales on books. I keep finding those sales because I keep looking at books. Amazon has a lot of books for under $5, most of them have been out for awhile but still perfectly new (well, except for the big black mark on the edges of the bottom because they don't want you turning around and selling them for NEW at their site which would kind of put them at a disadvantage) and perfectly wonderful. Another place I frequent (they used to know me by name *grins*) is Children's Book of the Month Club. They always drag me in with their specials but I've been very good lately. This one I couldn't resist today, though. Buy two books at Member Club prices and get one free. So I found six books all under $5 (hardcover!) and got two of them free. All totaled, I saved $73 but had to pay $13 in postage. If I have a section of new books in the store (I'm thinking most of them will be YA books but some children's and some adults for like gifts and stuff) that are "heavily discounted" from the cover price, I can still make a profit off these books. The great thing is that even if I choose to read them, I can turn around and sell them as used (I'm a gentle reader so my used books are always great deals) then I could still make a small profit!

I will list out what I got when I open the box because that's always the best time because I can touch them while I type out their titles. Don't you just love touching books? I do! New ones, even just when they're new to me are GLORIOUS.

Plans are still moving forward at a snail's pace. I'm talking to people, getting the word out to my friends that this is what I'm planning, getting it into their minds to come to me with their old books or whatever. My mom keeps harping on me to save my money for bookcases and advertising and signs and that is her job so I will let her harp on me because I do need to start saving and spending on those other things but I do love buying books!

Trying to put together plans to see Josh Groban in the fall. Man, I really want to see THIS concert because I love everything about this album! Talking about it has made me wonder where the CD is because I don't have it on Sterling and I really need to get it on there! I have the CD cover art... hmmm... where is it at???? Oh well. I'll watch him on YouTube for awhile longer. I'm too lazy to get up and make a real search.

I wonder what I'm making for dinner? I guess I should ask myself what I want. That could take awhile!
