In which I go to a softball game, come home bruised... and read

Yesterday I went to Twin Falls for the first day of the High School Girls Softball Districts. While at the game, I got hit by a foul ball. On the side of my boob. Ouch! Yeah, it bruised quite nicely. I'm glad it hit there, though. If I hadn't moved to the, it would have caught me in the sternum and that would have hurt A LOT more. Sadly, "my" team lost but we have another chance at getting third place on Tuesday. I won't be able to get to any of the other names because I'll be working. Here's hoping they can pull it off, though. I have faith in them!

I also went shopping while I was down there. First, has anyone checked out the shirts at Wal-Mart? JMS has "lounge length" this summer which means you won't be showing off your underwear! Sweet! I need to go get MORE of them because I like them so much!

Also, at Barnes & Noble, if you buy two items in the store, you get a really cool bag! I bought four items, which is pretty good for me. What restraint! Found The Art of French Kissing by Kristin Harmel on the bargain table and got it for inventory.

For me, I got:

Unholy Ghosts and Unholy Magic by Stacia Kane (I already have City of Ghosts and needed to finish off the trilogy)

Magic on the Hunt by Devon Monk - Book 6!

Also, I finished Born of Night (Book 1 of The League) by Sherrilyn Kenyon. ( Here's what I thought of it. )
