On the other side
Nov. 9th, 2011 10:14 pmI've been running a very mild fever for the last day or so. I'm sleeping A LOT more than I would think I need. My stomach is rumbling in a way that has nothing to do with eating or not eating. I get these waves of "OMG I'm going to puke" but they don't go anywhere and go away pretty quickly. I've had a headache off and on that isn't my normal stress-related headache.
Either I'm working up SLOWLY to getting sick or I've slipped into a "weather change" depression. *sigh* I've been doing such a good job of keeping on top of that. Work is NOT helping. Talky Pharmacist was there today but Beth was back and she let me leave an hour and a half early.
It does amuse me greatly that I'm Alpha Female in our department. Even our main pharmacist bares her neck when it has something to do with certain things that aren't her direct duties. I like it and I don't like it at the same time. I have a strong personality but sometimes I get really sick and tired of having to do the jobs that come along with that. And now Talky Pharmacist has started to defer to me for PHARMACIST stuff. I'm a tech, lady! Yes, some things I know because I LISTEN (she might want to try it sometime) and I have a decent memory for things that sound important. But don't ask me pharmacist questions. Or questions that the doctor could answer. Pick up the phone!

Having the coolest conversations about Once Upon a Time on some of my friends' posts. Haven't had this kind of fun since... well, Lost, I guess. Imagine that. *grins*

onceuponaland is a huge gift giving challenge. Yes, it's that time of year but I don't know any of these people! I know they're going to give me a long list of things they want to include but still... and each 200 word drabble is worth 5 points and we have to do 100 pts worth of something so that's 4000 words total (if I'm doing my math right). Am I doing that right? On top of four other major challenges due around the same time, that's a bit much for me to be writing. I could do a mixture of writing and artsy stuff but I'm not good at that.
What I really need to do is start working on mysga_santa fic! *deep breath*
Finally watched The Peacekeeper Wars so I am officially done with Farscape. So did not watch it with singleminded focus so I remember very little about it. Got the main points, though. That's all that matters at this point!
