And that's... okay
Jun. 9th, 2012 11:53 pmJune might be meant for weddings but it certainly wasn't meant for writing. At least, not this June and definitely not for me.
Part of the problem is that I was housesitting those first days of the month. I'm like one of those paranoid baseball players who won't change the socks they wore the day they got a homerun - I can't seem to write at my own computer now. Eek! That's not good!!! *grins*
The other part is there is a lot going on right now with my family. Not necessarily bad stuff. At least, not all of it. We're just enjoying being together. Like today. We had a funeral to go to that my mom and her friend ended up doing the meal after at the last minute. I wasn't even planning on going but ended up tagging along so I could help out. Then, I took a nap (was up until 2am swatting at a moth who kept DIVE BOMBING ME! Talk about EEK!) and then we played games after dinner.
This is the sort of thing I adore so who am I to say no? Especially when I'm the one buying the new games that need to be played! I suppose they could play them without me but what fun would that be?
Right now, I'm willing to write whatever comes to mind. I would write new jingles for dish detergent if it would get me a word count!
