First and foremost:


The be_compromised promptathon has begun! Right now, it's in the beginning stages so come by and leave a prompt here and check out the others that are already there.

What exactly is be_compromised? It's a really community where Clint (Hawkeye) and Natasha (Black Widow) are given lots and lots of love. There are a ton of cool people there and we've had the best conversations! I don't normally let myself get so immersed into a shipping community that I can't write the characters in another pairing but it's really hard with this group! They give me such feels about the couple!

Anyway, come check it out.

Second, I had been reading The Girl Who Played With Fire back in January before I got so terribly ill with the croup. I was feeling so crappy and weak that I couldn't read the book well (it's a heavy one) so I put it down and haven't picked it back up until the other day. Now I can't get enough of it. I actually went to bed early (11ish) last night so I could read.

Third - HAVE YOU SEEN THIS? I want to own the 10-disc set because (a) the artwork is COOL, (b) 10 discs of goodness and (c) THE TESSERACT CASE!!!!!!!! I want this so much! And it comes out three days before my birthday! I should take those days off and spent the entire time in front of the TV watching the movies.

Fourth is a good one. I like it. It makes me smile. Why? Because I'm working on my resume. Like, I have it open and am adding stuff and tweaking stuff and just trying to make myself awesome. It really helps that I've lined up a few places where I can send it. None of the jobs are earth shattering but I have hope for the first time in a long time. Of course, I'm dreading the interview process. Even after DOING interviews, I still don't like them. One of my favorite questions to ask was "If you could be a tree, what kind would you be?" Why? It gave me an idea of how "out of the box" the test subject interviewee could get.

Fifth - I'm eating jello. Cherry jello. Jello is love.

Man, I really like these two! I never would have given Ms. Everhart another thought except for a conversation at be_compromised. Now I have thoughts about these two. Many, many thoughts.
