One of the last things I thought of as rushing out the door on my vacation was a laptop. Oh yeah! I need to grab Tif's BEHEMOTH of a laptop to bring with me. It doesn't have a battery! No big deal. I'll only go places with plug-ins.

I KNOW THAT IT IS BIG BUT WHAT ELSE IS ABOUT IT? *giggles*

The space button doesn't work well. You never think about spaces until you can't have them. The left side works better than the right side but I'm not a left spacer. It's hurting both my head and my arm (my thumb is not meant to go down that hard) and this Panera bagel is not making me less irritated.

The drive was long but I made it in almost exactly 13 hours which is very good timing. Almost as soon as I got here, it was time to head for the Sky Sox game (Triple A baseball) where the Avengers were going to show up. As SaraJo said at one point, "I wish it wasn't so cheesy." I don't know what she was expecting but I sort of figured on cheesy. They were all in costumes you could get from the costume store except Iron Man but he figured pretty exclusively in the play (Loki wanted to take over the ball field for his nefarious plans... because don't all evil people want a minor league ballpark?). Black Widow was by FAR the worst imposter because she might have been pretty but she was like a car model, waving and smiling and *gulps back irritation* blowing kisses. It was bad, people. I'm not going to lie.

My knee is going to be giving me grief for awhile. *sigh* Should have gotten out of the car more yesterday!

So what am I doing? I'm attempting to get the netbook connected and am getting nothing but frustrated by it. There is the possibility of using the behemoth but that thing is frustrating in it's own right. So SaraJo offered up her computer while here at her house which is getting me connected but isn't helping the muse because the keyboard is different and the chair is different and it's been nothing but irritating. I could get out the notebook but my wrist hurts just THINKING about writing longhand.

The muse is angry. It was FINE on Thursday when I was able to write a little. It was firing in overdrive on Friday when I couldn't write at all. I had ideas on Saturday as I was driving.

Today... nothing. I even read the book I was reading that gave me the ideas. Nothing.

SO...

GIVE ME IDEAS! Anything! I swear I will write you 1000 words or less (or... you know... more) if you give me an idea. It can be a full-fledged idea (Dude,ou should write about Clint and Natasha owning a bakery! And they should have a special bagel called the Arc Reactor and the sarcastic and witty young billionaire philanthropist always comes in and gets one toasted) or just a pairing (or group or whatever) and a situation or just a setting or... oh, I don't know. I'm the one with a muse who appears to be sulking.
