Title: Eight Steps to You - Chapter 6: Aim With Your Instincts
Fandom: Avengers Olympic AU
Characters: Clint/Natasha, Phil Coulson, Bobbi Morse, OCs
Rating: PG-13
Prompt: This chapter more or less happened because I wanted to have Clint singing to Natasha. The use of the song Anywhere I Lay My Head by Tom Waits (which Scarlett did a cover of on her album) is just a plus.
Story Summary: An AU of Clint (archery) and Natasha (rowing) at the Summer Olympics.
1: Assume the Correct Stance
2: Grip It Tight
3: Nocking the Arrow
4: Raise and Draw
5: Find the Anchor

Sep. 3rd, 2012 07:35 pmOkay, guys. There is NO NEW FOOTAGE at the end of the Avengers when it is out in the theaters. I don't know exactly where I saw that so I hope I didn't get anyone's hopes up... although I got mine up and that was horrible in and of itself. There's the shawarma scene, like always.
But the movie is still lovely and wonderful and epic. This was fifth (although I think there might have been one that I'm missing because I'm fairly certain I saw it with Randye but now I don't know) and I was on the edge of my seat, just like the first times. Although... the poor lady who set next to me. I would start laughing (like a low "hehe" sort of laugh) whenever something funny was GOING to come up. Like PUNY GOD or SO THAT'S WHAT IT DOES.
This was, by far, the most energetic crowd of any that I watched it with. There were quite a few first timers around us (like the lady beside me, poor dear) but even the people who had clearly seen it before were laughing. I didn't know what to do with myself! Those Idaho people are dead weights compared to these Colorado people!
I may be cutting my Colorado trip in half to head back to Idaho for what could be a job interview. Mom wasn't specific, only that there was a message waiting for me on Friday that they forgot to give to me. I'd forgotten that I even put an application there and not all the other places that I thought about. It was a trial place. So, maybe traveling on Wednesday or Thursday to get back in time. My knee is aching already! BUT YEAH!
I have NOT been drinking enough water on this trip! Bad Lar! I should know better! I'm just lazy. I've had a dull headache most all of the time which I'm sure could be cured by OH I DON'T KNOW... WATER!
Have you seen a touch screen cola vending machine? Not with the cans but the kind that goes in a cup? I used one today! It was awesome! I wanted just regular Coca-Cola but you can get just about every flavor added in with it. Even RASPBERRY! So cool!
