One of the best shows this season... that is actually from last season... is LAW & ORDER UK!!!

I've never been a huge fan of L&O but (yes, I'm going to say it again) OMG!!

If you like Jamie Bamber (and, really, who doesn't) and love to hear him using his actual accent, check it out.
If you like BBC shows, check it out.

How many of you did I leave out? None? That's what I thought.

Actually I gave up halfway through because I'd seen so much L&O and watching it re-enacted with a couple of Anglicisms thrown in just seemed pointless. It seemed a cheap and tacky way to make a show - write new episodes if you're going to do a spin-off! I hate when Americans seem to have to remake everything (e.g. Life On Mars) so I don't see why I should give a free pass when we do it!
On the other hand I like Bamber a lot more here than I ever did in BSG, and the whole Apollo + Martha Jones thing was vaguely amusing.
