See, I heard one of these commercials on the radio the other day and found it offensive because of the inherent sexism. "I'm that new shade of lipstick, but I'm too garish and you can't quit checking me out in the mirror," yada yada. This one was funny, but takes another potshot at a female driver. Then again I haven't seen/heard any others. Is there one about the guy who reads the newspaper on the way to work every day (I used to see a guy doing that a couple times a week). Or one about the dude trying to shave and talk on his phone while driving? Or the guy smoking and switching the radio station?
If there's a whole series, I'll try to be less offended. LOL
There is a whole series. He's a windstorm, a puppy, a satellite reciever, a teenage boy mowing the lawn... I can't think of any others but he's just all the things that could go wrong to you, the person who needs the insurance.
Oops, I forgot to respond to this. :P Okay, I'm glad to hear there are lots of other situations than the two poking-fun-at-woman-drivers ones. Because I'm totally willing to admit we get distracted, but I also work with a guy who was fiddling with his radio and rear-ended someone this week, so yanno. *G*
I'll look for those others, because I like that actor.
