Have you heard about THIS?

Some of SGU's actors found out about the show's cancellation ON TWITTER!!!! The info broke online before they TOLD THE ACTORS. Not just those actors that were on once and awhile. No, some of the big ones. The ones that have their name at the first part of the show.

That is COLD.

You've fallen even further in my eyes, SyFy. When will you be changing your name to Ghost Wrestling Network?

It's actually not Syfy's fault. They told the producers/show runners a day before, and gave them 24 hours to tell whoever they wanted before they announced it. Another example of the Stargate runners being asshats.

It got leaked online (at Deadline.com) before the cast could be told by the producers and since everyone got bombarded with questions on their personal Twitters about it the producers ended up admitting it was true instead of denying it only to have to reveal it it was true after they had done whatever they had planned to do for the cast. I've heard nothing about the producers being warned they had X number of hours to inform the cast properly. I doubt anyone including Syfy wanted the news to get out like and printed on some rag as there are 10 episodes left to be aired and the holidays and stuff coming up. Even Syfy would have liked to put its own spin on the news and release it through reputable sources. The Deadline thing and whoever leaked it there really triggered everything.
