I got spoiled by TV Guide

I recorded Castle last night. When I opened up my TV Guide this afternoon, what do I see but a pic of Castle and Becket KISSING! Needless to say, I had to put it on as soon as I got home tonight. I do love how Nathan Fillion can play serious with a sense of humor. All while looking so good!

We had fog all day today. Can I just say that I'm so happy that my car lights turn off when my car turns off?!!!? One of the reasons my old car had trouble with its battery was because I couldn't remember when I'd turned on the lights.

OH! You know what else I discovered from the TV Guide? I've been missing The Cape. I'm assuming no one else is watching it on my flist since It's now on NUMBER FIVE and I'm just realizing it's on. I'm catching up on it with Hulu. *crosses fingers* I'd really like this to be a good show.

I watched the first couple of eps of The Cape. It was... odd. I didn't particularly like it and haven't bothered watching anymore but I hope it works for you and you like it.

I've watched the first and will try to catch the second this weekend. The jury's still out but we'll see... I want to like it but that only means they'll ditch it!

I feel like that too! If I like something I always think I've doomed it to cancellation. Its the things I never got into (like LOST) that go on for ages and are allowed to wrap themselves up. :S

OR they ruin the reason I like it! That's happened to me many times and then I don't like it anymore and they can do what they like with it (i.e. HEROES).

Or someone or someones I liked leave and the people who are left are just sorta... not them. :)

Or the writers change and that makes the characters do strangle things that they shouldn't do so it's almost like the characters have been taken over by aliens.

Or where it gets utterly cracktastic and you just think "What the frilly heck happenned here?"

And you begin to wonder if the food budget has gone up because all the writers want to eat are Doritos!

Hmm, let me know if you like The Cape. I heard mixed reviews and I'm not sure the lure of Summer Glau is enough, by itself.

Castle, on the other hand, is so fun! I suspect Fillion of playing himself, really, which I'm totally fine with btw, and I like that the arc with Beckett's mom is playing out slooowwwwly and hasn't become the sole focus of the show.

The first ep was interesting. Think I'm going to wait to watch the rest of the new ones this week. It's hard to do anything worthwhile when I'm watching Hulu.

Nathan is BY FAR the funniest person on my TV right now. He's got such great timing!

I like that the other characters are still getting screen time even through Beckett's story arc. Gotta have some Ryan and Esposito every week!
