Our little community was rocked (some parts of it literally) by the death of a man due to a gas tank explosion. The news broadcast is here and, not to make light of the situation, but my dad is one of those firemen. Craig will definitely be missed!
In other news, my job situation is doing better only because everyone I work with is very good at glossing over things, including me. I've relied on coffee (and no breakfast) to get through the mornings. I get really chatty when I'm all jittery. That has helped. The afternoons have gone quickly thanks to the new girl. She has been the wind beneath my wings this week.
Linda from Sesame Street is on CSI tonight! She's Grissom's mom! Lucky him!
I made a new version of chicken and rice! Instead of using cream of mushroom soup, I just used chicken STOCK (not BROTH), some green enchilada sauce, some havarti cheese diced up, some soy sauce and some pepper. Chicken and rice as well. It was plenty tasty and just a little less bad for me!

5_prompts. What I really should be doing is folding the laundry... which is why I brought it out to the living room and put them RIGHT BY the couch so I couldn't forget it! Guess I'll go do that.
