The next Big Bang of the year

Tomorrow is the first chance to claim a picture in the sgareversebang and I'm struggling to figure out what I want to write. I'm surprised at the variety of ideas and pairings! I figured it would be very McShep oriented but it really isn't.

I've never written anything overtly John/Rodney before. I do ship them and think they have wonderful chemistry - I just don't know if I can pull that off. The couple of ideas there are very interesting for them but I almost want to leave them for a writer who already gets them and wouldn't have to work out her insecurities in print. I want to READ those ideas, not write them.

The OT4 is always fun to try to pull off and I love the chemistry of all four of them together. Most everything that I've ever read is very porny but I don't think people would mind a decent OT4 with plot!

John/Atlantis... that would be love! That idea just tickles my muse.

There's a Lorne/Zelenka complete with cowboy hats. Lorne as a cowboy is a pretty, pretty thought.

So I think I have my top five picked out. I think... it'll probably change by the time that I can officially request my picks. Here's hoping my muse likes what I get.

a decent OT4 with plot? count me right in, I assure you. *pushes you towards it* ;)

and heck, if you want to try John/Rodney, it's a nice place to try it, don't worry about insecurities!

I was nicely surprised at the variety of pairings, too. Though as mainly a McShep writer (and I know there are lots of others like me), I think the competition will be ferocious for my first choices ;)

I got the OT4 (as there weren't many choices when I was finally able to get online) which makes me happy! I think I could do them justice!

I thought you meant mine (16) because I was the only one who had tagged it as possible OT4! lol! but yes, 11 looks awesome, I can't wait to see what you'll do with it. I love AUs

I got my first choice, yay! well I was right there to comment as soon as the post opened, commenting second, since I was refreshing obsessively. I am deeply happy. it's 24 where everyone is tiny. cannot wait to see the full piece of art!

16 was on the top of my list but it was already grabbed when I got online. :( Pretty much, I got the last available picture! I thought about waiting for the second round but I didn't want to miss out. It's weird to be on this side of things and have to "hurry up"! I'm not used to that! Next time I'll look into having someone comment for me.

24 looks like a bang up idea! That should be hilarious! They're all so wee!

those kinds of challenges are very stressful IMHO... if you really want a specific piece of art. I'm sure you'll do great with yours! (and I'm flattered you liked mine, thank you!)

the second round already started, and mine went away real fast this time.. it's great to think I'll have two stories, see what they'll think about.

the wee!character look AWESOME. At first I had not even noticed, I though the screen of the laptop was a wall panel, and it was my fave even then. I only saw they were tiny today and was even more excited to have it, hence my being sure to be there as soon as possible =D
