Oops!

I went to see Sucker Punch with Randye today. I really liked it up until the last 20 minutes or so in which I fainted. Quit breathing and the whole twelve and a half yards. So thankful it was toward the end of the movie but I'm not completely sure how it ended. I was only out for maybe 45 seconds, Randye said. Enough time for her to be on the phone with 911 when I came to.

Now I'm never going to convince her to go to another movie with me!

The really good news is that I got to see the trailer for CONAN! Not much of Jason in it but he did speak (SWEET!) and that was enough for me to start squeeing like the fan girl that I am.

I had things planned for this afternoon but I think I'm going to spend it on the couch.

Are you sensitive to flashy visuals or was it emotionally triggery. I heard it was triggery for people.

I am all excited about Conan too. I just hope it doesn't turn into a Kull the Conqueror. *shivers* I have no excuse for that one. I saw that in the theater with my mom. Should have known!

Mostly emotional triggery. I thought I'd grown out of most of this kind of thing, though. Who knows about the flashy things these days, though. It was the fastest I've ever succumbed so it might be a little of both.

The Conan trailer was most of what I'd already seen on the internet so I'm looking forward to anything that new comes out!

I got physically sick (well, not puking but I felt like I could have) during the animated parts of Kill Bill and had to leave and come back when that part was over. Stylized stuff is potent with me. I had the same problem with parts of Sin City. I'll probably just wait until the DVD with this one.

Yeah, then you won't like this one either! I'd never thought about the stylized stuff being hard on people but I guess I can see that.

Scary for Randye. Embarrassing for me! I hate fainting. Time to start paying attention to what the movies are about again! It's been years since I worried about it. Oh well.
