It's rather BRRRRR for the end of April

My new pretty is plugged in! I opened the box to my new iPod Touch today! Her name is Sterling (as she's silver) and she is beautiful and SOOO very small for someone with so much inside her. First things, first - I'm downloading a movie (Despicable Me), an app (Words with Friends since several of you have talked about it) and, of course, music (but only the stuff I have on this computer as I need to do some moving around). 64G!!! What will I do with all the space? I give it a year before I'm complaining about needing more. *grins*

We got snowed on at the softball game today. My hands are still numb and I've been inside for TWO HOURS! It was the JV game and we were at a field without a scoreboard so I kept score the second game so that the crowd would know what the score was. If I hadn't done that, I might have left early! So Cold! It's freakin' April 30th!

And then the box with my new OS for the Mac. Millan will be so happy to be normal once again! I look forward to weekends even more when I know that Amazon is sending me stuff! Most of those books are either used (although still from Amazon because then I get free shipping) or on sale! Sweet!

I need to read the last Richelle Mead books, but I've read the first 2 maybe? I don't know how many there are now! She's has YA series too that I read the first 2 of I think. I like her stuff! Where are you buying them?

If you're willing to get something you might never have heard before, Amazon has some SUPERB deals. Part of this purchase is with an eye toward "stock" but some are books that I've had my eye on for awhile.

I now own parts of three series' that Mead has written. There's the Vampire Academy series that I've heard good things about and then the Succubus series and then the one that Storm Born is from. I haven't done my homework but I'm pretty sure those last two are different. Haven't read them yet and probably won't until end of summer but I'm excited about them!

Although, if you have books you'd like to let go and don't mind going to the post office A LOT, you might try paperbackswap. I don't do it any more because the post office is just so irritating around here and not at all on my way to anything but that's where I got A LOT of my books. Most of the books I got were in decent shape. It's a lot of effort for a lot of reward.

Richelle Mead!!! I love her succubus series too, but I haven't read "Storm born" yet. Will definitely have to be on my to-read list.

Also: Meg Cabot! She's great :D

Don't recognize the rest of the authors, though I think I've got an anthology with a story by Marjorie M. Liu.

The little that I've read by Marjorie M. Liu, I really like!

I follow Meg Cabot on Twitter and she makes me want to read all her books again! Figured I'd get some of her stuff when I came across it and have a grand reread at the end!

I'm excited to get to Richelle Mead! People seem to really like her!
