*falls over laughing*

I was rewatching an episode of Leverage (The Experimental Job - my all-time favorite job because we see Hardison getting to be UBER-geek and Eliot getting to be UBER-tortured soul) and there was a line that I always hear as "Help me prison mom." Seriously, that is what I hear! The line is actually "Help me prove them wrong."

I don't know... I kind of like the first line but it's weird thinking of Nate as a prison mom. Definitely would be a different show altogether.

What did I do with my phone charger? Hmmm...

Peyton Manning isn't a Colt any longer? Shocking. Could he one day be a Bronco?

Have you seen that Ben Browder is going to be on an episode of Dr. Who? True story.

Sherlock Holmes is popping up all over these days. There's going to be a sequel of Gnomeo and Juliet entitled: Gnomeo and Juliet: Sherlock Gnomes. Wonder if it'll be as good as the first?

The Cure! <3

Thats such a great ep of Leverage. I love Parker when she gets a hold of the shock treatment thingy. zzzzap! zzap!

I kinda squeed a little when I heard the Dr Who news. He isn't my fav SG actor, but its nice to see any of them in anything, especially something I might actually watch. lol

I quite liked the first gnomeo and juliet movie, but sequals are always never as good as, so... still, be interesting to see where they take a sherlock gnome route!

And I love Parker screaming "ATTICA!" and all that. It makes me laugh every time I watch it. There are just so many good things about this episode. So many little moments. Love that!

It's always cool when more actors get to be part of the Doctor Who 'verse because there are just that many more links between my shows!

Anytime anyone gets an excuse to be a gnome, it is a reason for happiness! *grins*

Not sure what I'd do if Peyton became a Bronco. I swore to always despise them...

Yeah, I had to give that up when I left CS. It's just easier to give up despising them for a chance to see Mile High again.

But why would the Broncos want him? *G* I think Peyton's career as a pro football player is over. I love him to pieces, but I think he should have used this neck injury as a time to evaluate his career, and maybe focus on coaching or working with youth full-time. He's obviously got a real soft spot for kids, so I can see that being something he would enjoy.

I suppose it would be kind of jerky for the Colts to trade their first-round draft pick to get Eli, but I would dance for joy if we could get Eli. *G* Or Drew Brees. I want Drew back in Indiana.

I really agree with this article in that the Broncos could really use Peyton on the team. Maybe he starts some games but not all the time and he could kind of work his way into retirement WHILE teaching Tebow HOW TO THROW. I've seen high school quarterbacks that never go on to play in college, even, that can throw better than him. He's a great person and I did watch him work his team like a good QB should. He's got that special spark that makes him a great people person and a leader. He could use some lessons from Peyton. If done right, I think it could be a win for Peyton and a win for the Broncos and a win for Tebow. Will the Broncos allow something to flow like that? Doubtful. But it's nice to think about, though.

I don't know what happened to make Peyton not a Colt anymore so I don't know if it would be jerky to get Eli. I think that would be hard on Eli, though. He'd be stepping into his brother's shadow and I don't know if that is such a good thing.

I like the Mannings. They're good people. I hope this works out for them.

I think Eli would be up to stepping into his brother's shadow, just because his career has been fantastic so far, and he's got obvious skills. But I have to wonder if it would cause family tension, and I wouldn't want that, because I also like both Mannings.

What happened with Peyton is that the Colts had an option to renew his contract for like $28 million, or else release him as a free agent. The deadline for that was this past week, and the Colts wanted to renegotiate that amount, because face facts, Peyton is damaged goods and he's still not playing the way he did pre-injury. I think it was a reasonable idea, particularly since I don't think any pro athlete is worth that kind of money. :P But Peyton rejected the notion of a smaller amount, so the Colts declined to sign him. They get first draft pick this year anyway, since they sucked so badly this past season, and they've replaced half the coaching staff, seems like, and just today released Dallas Clark and two other players, so it's going to be like a whole new Colts this coming season.

But I like your idea about the Broncos using Peyton to learn from him. I don't know much about the other teams, since I barely pay attention to pro football at all. LOL (I'm an NCAA fan mostly.) But I agree that if Peyton can pay it forward in some way to other players, that would be a good option for both him and the team who gets him.

Ah, see I miss most post-season stuff because I simply don't care about all that drama! *grins*

I'm quite amazed with Eli's skills and was so glad he could make a name for himself outside of Peyton. I'll be interested to see what happens in both these situations to see what they come up with. I'm also keenly aware that the news we get is often skewed so it'll be interesting to see where the chips fall.

Hahaha! Here in Indiana there is no way to escape the drama when it relates to the Colts! :) We had a double whammy this year, since we also had huge huge SuperBowl hype as well. :P

That is one good thing about living in the wilds of Idaho... not a lot of drama like that out here!
