"We’ll talk later,” Cedric whispered as he slipped past her, brushing his fingers furtively along her wrist.
Cho nodded, her chin tilted high as her eyes snapped. “Good luck,” was all she said, her voice laced with displeasure still running fierce after their last conversation.

“We’ll talk later,” Marietta whispered as she slipped off the bed. “Get some sleep.”
Cho nodded, her hand clutching a yellow jumper. Sleep was the last thing her sluggish brain was going to let happen. She mentally replayed stolen kisses and whispered words she had taken for granted. There were no more second chances.
