Because it's something that Nerd Fighters do...

They changed the way our emails looked at work about two years ago. This made my 487 business cards obsolete. I was perfectly content with crossing out the email and putting the right one in it's place with pen but that was deemed no "professional" enough by the powers that be and I got new business cards. I know I should have just thrown away the 487 useless cards but I didn't.
But look at how useful they are.
If you'd like to make a business card box of your own, here are the directions. And it's easy to fold them. You just put make a "T" with two cards and bend them over each other.

I found them online but googling "business card box". If you want to make a structure like mine, you stick the flaps into each other (that sounds vaguely wrong) and then cover the parts that are showing with another card. It's actually much easier than it sounds here but you know that I'm horrible trying to explain these things. All I can say is try it first before you think about giving up. It really is easy!
