Shout out to @feliciaday ... here's a link to Date My Avatar! Check it out and CHECK OUT THE GUILD. It's an awesome webisode based show written for gamers, about gamers by a gamer. It's worth the 3 or 4 minutes each episode! So funny!

And now that I've done my good deed for the day (and you will like it so it's not just a charitable mention), I'm off to work on the two stories I've got going right now.

Can't wait to see what they come up with next! I'm not good at waiting though...

I'm only about three weeks ahead of you! Didn't think about posting anything about it until the video! Yet another thing to laugh at on the web.

My hubbie turned me on to it. 'Date My Avatar' has been stuck in my head for the better part of this week.

K now I've been had you on my Flist for SOOOOO long and I had 0 idea at all that you were a gamer, just a writer. So tell me what games do you play?

Sadly, I don't play in real "gamer" games. I wanted to get into WOW about two years ago but had a sort-of friend that was so addicted I was scared off (because I am the sort that would need to go through a 12 step program). Couldn't play D&D as a child growing up because my parents were convinced I'd start worshipping the devil (yes! seriously!) and have never found a group since I became an adult (who won't ever worship the devil! Hello!). Thankfully, I've had several friends who have told me about the gaming world so I have a good idea of the whole place. And I do a lot of simple games here and there. Nothing too interesting that it kept me coming back with any regularity, though.

I started watching The Guild because of Felicia Day and her performance in Dr. Horrible. She's just such a funny person! I must admit that I have followed her around quite a bit of the internet. If you want some good book reviews, she's quite the reader as well!

Any suggestions of some good ones that won't suck my life away?

Well I do play WoW and though it can get addictive it doesn't absorb my every hour but I know what it can do to some people lol. I play The sims 3 which is a lot of fun and I always get into downloading content, and if you're really into creating people and stuff you can always create say harry potter and all his buddies and re create some sort of fan fictiony idea you have. I just bought myself a wii too and even though I'm not sporty at all I love Wii sports. I try every single sport even though I suck at them just about as much as I do in real life but man my arms hurt after lol. If you really want to start playing WoW it is a pretty simple game to get a hang of especially since they made leveling so much easier but you just need to make sure to not get out of control, I have a friend who's leveled at least 5 or 6 characters to the max level, it's pretty sad actually.

The Sims counts as a "game"? Then count me in! I've been playing Sims 2 for a couple of years now and have gotten Sims 3 but don't have it installed on the right computer (BTW Acer Aspires don't have the right equipment - word to the wise) so haven't really played it yet. Need to get that moved over... hmmm... maybe that's how I could spend my weekend. *grins*
