Book for the New Year

I was working on getting my reading list straightened up and current (you can find it HERE) and was reminded that the first couple of books are always really important to me. As the first of the year goes, so goes the rest!

I'm looking for ideas. There's still time to get new books before the holidays.

So... I'm playing fruit basket mix-up with my characters lately. Tonks and Charlie. Rose and Neville. Ginny and Zach. Megan and Seamus.

Since I've started to expand (eek! *bites nails*) my character list, I've started writing one of the only two Slytherins I care to write about. Pansy! I know there are some of you who write her but I'd like all of your opinions on this. So...
