Yeah, I know they don't. And their communication skills are dire *sigh*. Most of the people I chatted with about the LJ changes were of a 'wait and see' attitude though, because part of the LJ mess is that usually there's miscommunication about how bad things are actually going to be. There's been some further information here that you might want to take a look at that's now saying that we'll be able to turn off the infinite scroll and that the paid accounts aren't actually being removed as such, they're just changing how paid accounts/the system works. I know what you mean though. I'm giving them money, so I expect I certain amount of service that isn't being delivered, bah.
I like shiny and new things, but when it comes to my internet places, well... I guess I just like to set up shop, keep everything together, and I like to give it my all. I used to try and do too many things at once (in general not just online) and I couldn't keep it up, because I can't time manage by giving bits of myself to lots of people, so the solve was to time manage by limiting where I gave. So, LJ become my main home and ff.net was my archive. Now AO3 is my archive in terms of I read over there, but I'm still working on moving all my fics there and I don't think I'll shut up shop on ff.net. If I was ever going to move from LJ it would have to be a move, not something extra or I wouldn't be able to handle it, heh.
