Some good info on GN formatting that should come in handy later one, especially

Dark Horse sample script... more about how to use panels effectively

Step by step formatting tips as well as other interesting side notes to explore since I've never been to this particular site before

Advice to new writers from David Brin.

A good definition of Graphic Novel

I plan on adding more here later as I find interesting sites.

Sunday seems to be the day the writers all sit down at their keyboard and try to explain what drives them. I thought I would share two of them.

First is Melissa Marr or [livejournal.com profile] melissa_writing who is one of my favorite writers right now, probably because she loves her stories so much but is in continual awe that everyone else does, too. You know, the general public that you can never anticipate. Who knows what they will like today. Tomorrow it will be something completely different. Right now, she is the "it" girl! Here she talks about the two sides of writing. The actual writing and the business of writing.

The second entry is from [livejournal.com profile] greygirlbeast or Caitlin R. Kiernan, my new favorite author. In this entry she talks about the annoying question (that even I've gotten) "Where do you get your ideas from?" I like how she talks about "sparks" because that sounds about right.

And if you're looking at books, definitely try Wicked Lovely (her first) by Melissa and Threshold (it's the only one I've read yet) by Caitlin.
